What it does

Visionify sells computer vision software that monitors industrial sites for safety events. The company says it covers more than 50 event types, including PPE compliance, forklift safety, smoke and fire, slips and falls, spills, restricted zones and behavioral safety. Its product list includes Ergovision for ergonomic assessments, Gennie AI for natural language questions about safety data, a "PLC Hard Stop" product that can trigger automated machine shutdown, and a starter kit with preconfigured hardware. It also publishes an iOS workplace safety app.

Who it is for

Visionify targets manufacturing, warehousing, construction, oil and gas, and food and beverage. It is based in Denver, Colorado. Its founding date is reported inconsistently in public directories, so it is not stated here.

How it is deployed

The company says its software works with existing IP cameras from manufacturers including Hikvision, Dahua, Axis and Bosch. Processing runs on edge hardware, and Visionify says customer data is stored on the customer's premises. It quotes typical deployment times of two to three weeks. On-premises storage can simplify some data protection questions but puts more of the hardware and security burden on the customer's IT team.

Notable public customers and coverage

Visionify's website lists Henkel, Mondelez, Godrej, Terex, Hexion, Indorama, Adani and TotalEnergies among its customers. It cites a 72% incident reduction at Henkel and a 95% reduction in spills at Hexion; these are vendor claims. The company has little funding or trade press coverage; most of its off-site presence is software directory listings and reviews.

Things to ask in an evaluation

  • Which of the 50+ events are production ready on your camera models, and which are in development?
  • What edge hardware is needed, who supports it, and what is the refresh cycle?
  • How is the PLC Hard Stop integrated, tested and validated with your machine safety controls?
  • How were the Henkel and Hexion figures measured, and can you speak to those sites?
  • What is the company's size and financial position, given limited public funding information?
  • How are software updates delivered to on-premises installations?
