What it does
IQSIGHT is the new name for the business that was Bosch Video Systems. It makes network cameras, video management software, video analytics and cloud services. The brand was announced on 18 February 2026 [1], and trade press reported it as the successor to Bosch Video Systems [2]. Bosch completed the sale of the Keenfinity Group, which covers video, access control, intrusion and communications products, to the investment firm Triton on 30 June 2025. Keenfinity reported about 1 billion euros of revenue for fiscal 2024 [3].
The naming matters when buying. Keenfinity Group is the owner. IQSIGHT is its video brand, and Radionix is its intrusion brand. Products still carry the Bosch name for now, under a license from Robert Bosch GmbH [4]. The contracting company named on the IQSIGHT website is IQSIGHT B.V. in Eindhoven, the Netherlands [5]. IQSIGHT says it has more than 800 employees in 19 countries [6].
The analytics family is called IVA Pro. IQSIGHT claims more than 95% accuracy from deep learning trained on field data, but it does not publish how that figure was measured [7]. The product with the clearest workplace safety link is IVA Pro PPE, which detects missing safety vests and hard hats on upright people and raises an alarm when someone without them enters a zone [8]. Other IVA Pro products cover perimeter intrusion, building occupancy, tracking, visual gun detection and a cloud-based generative AI tool for scene descriptions [7]. These are alerting and monitoring tools. IQSIGHT does not claim a functional safety rating under IEC 61496 or ISO 13849, so they should not replace machine guarding or vehicle interlocks.
Who it is for
IQSIGHT targets education, government, critical infrastructure, transportation and smart city sites [1]. For EHS teams, it is most relevant at sites that already run Bosch cameras, or that need hard hat and vest alerts alongside intrusion detection on the same camera.
How it is deployed
IQSIGHT says analytics run at the edge and inside existing video management systems, and that it uses the cloud only where it adds value [1]. IVA Pro runs on the camera and sends alarms and metadata to a VMS [8]. IVA Pro Privacy masks moving people and vehicles, or fixed areas, while analytics keep running behind the mask. It can also give authorized staff a separate unmasked stream [9]. A SmartSuite plug-in brings IVA Pro events, including PPE, into Milestone XProtect [10]. IQSIGHT also lists compatibility with Genetec, LenelS2 and ISS, and supports ONVIF and MQTT [10][11].
Bosch closed its Azena camera app store to new development in 2022 [12]. On the pages reviewed, IQSIGHT does not offer an equivalent on-camera app store. Third-party safety analytics would most likely run on a server that reads the camera streams, or use IQSIGHT metadata through a VMS.
On cybersecurity, IQSIGHT claims IEC 62443-4-1 and 4-2, UL 2900-2-3, FIPS 140-3 Level 3 for the Secure Element, and Common Criteria. It also says its products are designed to support NDAA section 889, TAA and NIS2, and it promises at least five years of security support [13]. These are vendor claims. The page does not list the camera models or firmware versions that each certificate covers.
Notable public customers and coverage
IQSIGHT says Memphis-Shelby County Schools installed 5,000 cameras across more than 180 buildings and linked them to a central safety center through Milestone XProtect. The story credits up to 75% faster installation. It reports no safety or incident outcome [14].
Things to ask in an evaluation
- How was the 95% accuracy figure measured for IVA Pro PPE, and on which camera models?
- Which cameras support IVA Pro PPE, and what does a per-camera license cost?
- Can third-party safety analytics run on the camera, or only on a separate server?
- Which models and firmware versions are covered by the IEC 62443-4-2 and UL 2900-2-3 certificates?
- Is a data processing agreement available for the cloud services, and where is data stored?
- How long will Bosch-branded products be supported during the rebrand?
Our take
Strengths
- On-camera PPE detection for hard hats and vests [8], plus privacy masking that keeps analytics running behind the mask [9].
- A detailed list of cybersecurity claims, including IEC 62443-4-1 and 4-2, UL 2900-2-3 and FIPS 140-3 Level 3, with at least five years of security support (vendor claims) [13].
- Integration with Milestone through SmartSuite, and with Genetec and other platforms [10][11].
Watch-outs
- The new brand and ownership mean that legal entities, product names and contacts are still changing [4][5]. IQSIGHT does not claim ISO/IEC 27001 or SOC 2 on the pages reviewed [13], and no data processing agreement was found.
- No method is published for the 95% accuracy claim [7]. The named customer story reports an installation figure, not a safety result [14].
- No current on-camera app store for third-party analytics was found since Azena ended [12]. Prices are not published.
Best fit: Sites with existing Bosch cameras, or with Milestone or Genetec systems, that want hard hat and vest alerts and privacy masking on the camera, and that will check the certification scope during procurement.
