What it does

Invigilo sells SafeKey, software that applies computer vision to video from a site's existing CCTV cameras [1]. The company says SafeKey detects more than 40 risk types, including missing PPE, exclusion zone and confined space entry, edge proximity, forklift overspeed, pedestrian and vehicle conflict and workers under suspended loads, with alerts sent to WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, Telegram and email [1]. It markets four further "layers" on top of detection: randomized automated camera patrols, corrective action tracking, zone risk scoring and generated toolbox talk material [1]. Invigilo states that its published case study results measure only the detection layer, and that the newer layers were not part of those deployments [4].

Who it is for

Invigilo targets construction, offshore oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, logistics and marine vessels [1]. Singapore's corporate registry lists Invigilo Technologies Pte. Ltd. as a live private company incorporated on October 5, 2020 [8]. The company names Vishnu Saran (CEO) and Anand Kumar (CTO) as co-founders, and says it expanded into Saudi Arabia in 2023 [2]. It lists operations in Singapore, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Australia and claims close to 200 sites [1]. The Straits Times reported a 50-person team in 2026 [10].

How it is deployed

Invigilo says any camera with an RTSP stream can connect, that standard sites need no new hardware, and that a site can be live within 24 hours of camera access, followed by weeks of tuning [1][4]. It offers edge, fully on-premise or hybrid deployment, and says footage stays on site by default, with only alerts and event records leaving [1][2]. The company says it does not use facial recognition for safety detection [2]. It claims ISO 27001 certification and Singapore's CyberSafe Trustmark, and says security documents are available under NDA [1]. It lists Milestone and Genetec video management integrations [6]. Pricing is a subscription based on cameras, sites, detection scope and deployment model; no price list is published, and the company offers a free trial on recorded footage [3].

Notable public customers and coverage

Invigilo lists Saipem, Hyundai E&C and Lendlease as customers, plus projects for HDB, LTA and JTC [1]. Its main case study describes 30 cameras on a Singapore HDB public housing construction project, with 60% fewer safety incidents, 40% faster response and eight times more observations than manual patrols [5]. The main contractor is not named, and these figures are vendor-reported and have not been independently verified [5]. Invigilo says its figures compare six months before and after go-live on the same site, and that its 85% accuracy figure is verified per site [4]. In July 2026 The Straits Times reported that Invigilo was one of three start-ups awarded tenders under JTC's Innovative Procurement Partnership, a government route for piloting construction technology [9]. Invigilo also reports a 2026 memorandum of understanding with Motorola Solutions (Avigilon Alta) for Southeast Asia [7]. We found no public funding round and no user reviews on review platforms [11].

Things to ask in an evaluation

  • How is the 85% accuracy figure defined (precision, recall or another measure), and what does it look like for your camera views?
  • Can you speak with the HDB project contractor or another named reference about the 60% figure?
  • Which of the five layers are in production at reference sites today?
  • What edge server is needed per camera count, and who maintains it?
  • Will you share the ISO 27001 certificate, its scope and a data processing agreement before a pilot?
  • What alert volume should supervisors expect in the first weeks of tuning?

Our take

Strengths

  • Documented deployment options (edge, on-premise or hybrid on existing RTSP cameras) and a stated no facial recognition policy [1][2].
  • A government procurement award reported by The Straits Times, plus a public explanation of how case study figures were measured [9][4].

Watch-outs

  • Outcome figures come from anonymized or unnamed customers and are vendor-reported; the accuracy metric is not defined [4][5].
  • No published price list, data processing agreement or user reviews; security documents are offered only under NDA [3][1][11].

Best fit: Construction and heavy industry sites in Singapore, the Middle East or Australia that want edge-processed safety analytics on CCTV they already own and can run a footage trial before buying [1][3].
