What it does
Arvist's main product is warehouse quality control: it says cameras at dock doors, conveyors, packing stations and staging areas detect damage, verify orders against warehouse data and package photo and video evidence into freight claims [1]. A separate Safety & Compliance solution, which Arvist says monitors forklifts, workers and emergency zones in real time, detects PPE violations, tracks near misses between workers and forklifts, flags blocked exits and unauthorized zone entry, and assesses ergonomic risks such as unsafe lifting [2]. Results appear in dashboards, incident logs with clips and heat maps [2], and in 2026 it added an AI tool that drafts safety reports [9]. In a December 2025 trade interview, the chief executive said the company began in safety analytics but that safety is now a complementary layer to quality control, because its return on investment is harder to show [8].
Who it is for
The target buyer is a warehouse, third-party logistics or distribution operator, with some manufacturing use [1][5]. Arvist is based at 20 N Wacker Drive in Chicago, and the operating entity named in its privacy policy is Arvist Inc. [3][10]. Its company page lists Nilay Parikh as founder and chief executive and Bazyl Horsey as chief technology officer and co-founder [3]. In April 2026 it announced a partnership with Falco Systems to sell in Poland [11]. Most public material is aimed at operations and quality leaders rather than EHS teams [1][8].
How it is deployed
Arvist says its on-premise edge server connects to existing security cameras in their current positions, so video is processed without leaving the customer network, and that customers can add their own cloud storage for archiving [1]. It also says it ships preconfigured, off-the-shelf cameras as part of setup, and that many sites go live within a day per station [1][2]. Arvist claims ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 Type I compliance; we did not see a certificate or audit report [1]. It lists integrations with warehouse and ERP systems including Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, SAP and Oracle [4]. We found no published pricing, data processing agreement, or documentation of face or body blurring.
Notable public customers and coverage
Arvist announced a $4 million seed round in September 2025 led by Rackhouse Venture Capital [6]. In November 2023, Sourcing Journal reported a $1.1 million pre-seed round and five live sites at the time [7]. The safety page carries testimonials from executives at Universal Shipping and Holmatro, with no figures attached [2]. Its safety case study describes an unnamed manufacturer with a 20% reduction in workplace injuries and 30% fewer forklift incidents; these are vendor-reported figures that have not been independently verified [5]. The chief executive told MHI Solutions that quality models reach about 98% accuracy after onboarding, also not independently verified [8]. We found no independent study, analyst evaluation or user reviews of its safety module.
Things to ask in an evaluation
- Which safety detections run in production today, and how many sites use the safety module rather than quality control only?
- How was the 20% injury reduction in the manufacturing case study measured, and can you speak to that customer?
- What precision and false alarm rates should you expect for PPE and forklift near-miss alerts on your cameras?
- Are faces or bodies blurred, who can view raw footage, and how long is video kept?
- Can you see the ISO 27001 certificate and SOC 2 report, and is a data processing agreement available?
- How is the safety module priced, including edge hardware?
Our take
Strengths
- On-premise edge processing on existing or supplied cameras, with security certifications claimed by the vendor [1].
- One platform covers PPE, forklift near misses, blocked exits and ergonomics alongside quality control, with named WMS and ERP integrations [2][4].
Watch-outs
- The company describes safety as a secondary layer to quality control [8].
- Safety outcomes come from an anonymized, vendor-reported case study, with no accuracy method for safety detections [5][9].
- No pricing, data processing agreement, blurring controls or user reviews were found [1][10].
Best fit: Warehouse and 3PL operators that want damage, order accuracy and claims evidence first, with PPE and forklift safety monitoring added on the same cameras and tested in a pilot.
